Double Double possible, how improbable. History was made at the Hahndorf Rifle Club on Saturday 17th July 2010 when two shooters, Craig Ferris and Robert Paech, both scored a double possible at the same shoot. A Double possible is a score total of 156 out of a possible 156 . A shoot off was held to decide the winner with the total competition taking 3 ½ hours. The club’s Treasure, of 42 years, Mr Dean Keen proclaimed that he had never heard of two people scoring a double possible on the same day and only a handful of people have ever scored a double possible in the club’s 147 year history. Both shooters were using 223 Remington ammunition and scopes. The bull’s eye (score of 13) is 2” (50mm) in diameter and 200 yards away. There are two round with a maximum of 78 points each ;
