Welcome
Hahndorf Rifle Club is a unique and friendly shooting club located in the Adelaide hills near the main street of Hahndorf. Competition shooting is conducted in a sitting position using a vertical post for rifle guidance or done prone. Both riflescopes or aperture sights can be used. Centrefire targets are set at 200 yards, Rimfire targets at 100 yards (see 'About' link for more details).
Competitions are held on most Saturdays of the year with Centrefire shoots typically on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month and Rimfire shoots on the 2nd and 4th (see 'Calendar' link for details). Special competitions and events occur throughout the year including black powder, service rifles and the club's flagship event, the 'Kingship' which typically occurs at the end of the year. Rimfire shoots are limited to 22LR only.
Gates open around 12 pm with competitions starting at 1 pm, visitors are welcome.
